About Scott As managing director of
interactive marketing for
American Airlines, Scott has overall product management responsibility for
the award-winning American Airlines Web site, www.aa.com - one of the most popular travel sites on the
Internet and one of the largest e-commerce sites, according to Media
Metrix. His role includes oversight of the design, development and
implementation of AA.com's new products, features and functionality.
Scott came to the Interactive Marketing department in 1999 from
American's Cargo division, where he was vice president of finance and
information technology. He joined American in 1991, and has held various
management positions in both passenger and cargo revenue management. He
also has worked for United Parcel Service as marketing division manager
for marketing systems.
Scott has an MBA degree with emphasis in general management from Duke
University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the
University of Colorado.
